Local 18 is 1,150 members strong, representing tile, marble and terrazzo workers across Southern California. Our training facilities are recognized nationally as the foremost source of tile, marble and terrazzo trade training in the country. Our instructors, students and journey level craftworkers have been responsible for developing the majority of installation techniques in use throughout the country today. Over the last few decades, Local 18’s apprenticeship programs have produced thousands of the most productive, highly skilled, tile, marble and terrazzo craft workers in the industry.

Originally established in 1918, Tile Marble & Terrazzo Local 18 is an affiliate of the longest continuously running building trades union in North America, the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft workers, AFL-CIO.
